   -- Redwood is considered a GREEN building material, because it grows fast,  almost twice as fast as douglas fir and the heartwood is

       naturally insect and decay resistant making it last much longer than traditional building materials.  

  -- Redwood is considered a certified sustainable harvest by the Forest Steward Council (FSC) and the sustainable forestry iniative

      (SFI SM), that's good for the enviroment.

  -- Redwood is only found on the west coast of the United States making it a unique sought after Domestic product, much of it coming

       from California, that's good for our economy.

  --  Redwood is so well adapted to exterior use it is not required to have a finish infact it will patina to a nice silver gray with exposure

       to the elements and still remain the most dimensionally stable softwood

  -- If you have an unusual project ,  I may be able to help  design/build that Custom project for you. (pool 

       pump box, benches, Arbor, Trellis, Pergola, etc.)

  -- That common pressure treated lumber can rapidly corrode (RUST) traditional steel and coated fasteners 

       jeopardizing  structural integrity and creating ugly rust streaks.  I prefer Fasteners made from

       stainless steel for the ultimate in beauty and corrosion resistance.

  -- That I can have   gates,  fence panels, arbor kits and other products shipped to your address .
